Gay Parents To Be | October News
Hi there,
Pride in the month of June gets a lot of publicity - between the parades, the flags, and the summer weather, how could it not? But despite the chill in the air, October is also a month of celebration - it's LGBT History Month, when we celebrate heroes and events that have shaped the queer community. Here at Gay Parents To Be, we used this month to explore the history of LGBTQ family building, what gay parenting and family looks like today, and even take a look at what you can do to advocate for your future family.
I also want to share some the things that made October a special month for us here in the Gay Parents To Be offices - from international awareness days to in-house celebrations.
π³οΈβπNational Coming Out Day - because #AlltheFeels. And because acceptance needs to happen every day.
πSpirit Day - because we love cereal and hate bullying. Every year, we wear purple to stand up for LGBTQ youth.
πHalloween - because who doesn't love to trick-or-treat? Our office hosts a "Baby Boo" party, and welcomes past patients and their families. We can't wait.
One more thing - we're making some big changes to our newsletter, and we don't want you to miss out when we announce what's next. You'll be hearing from me directly in November with more information, but in the meantime click the button below to make sure you're on our list.
