Same-sex parenting is a controversial issue with the recent rulings against the Regnerus study, which claims that children of gay parents grow up differently.
Many LGBT couples are just trying to start a family, but they are met with criticism and negativity. One of the experts highlighted the thoughts of many gay parents:
"There's a lot of planning and thinking about it, investing money and investing time. We have a lot of love to give and when we make that commitment, we really want it."
